Do your products contain gluten?

All of our products are completely gluten-free!

Do your products contain any other known allergens?

Our products are free of dairy, wheat, eggs, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. We do not use sulphites or any other preservatives — that’s the benefit of flash freezing!

We often get asked about our smoking process and what kind of wood we use. While the precise combination of wood is proprietary information, it is a unique blend of hardwoods. If you have an allergy to specific wood types please contact us and we can let you know if our products are safe for you to consume.

Are you federally licensed?

Yes. Our production facility is a federally-registered plant with the Canadian Food and Inspection Agency (CFIA). The Fish Inspection Regulations — under the authority of the Fish Inspection Act — regulate the product and process standards that contribute to the acceptable quality, safety, and identity of fish and seafood products that are processed in federal establishments for interprovincial, export trade, or that are imported into Canada.

What is the shelf life of your frozen vacuum-packed fish?

While in a frozen state, our seafood has a shelf life of roughly 18 months before you would notice any degradation in quality.

How should I thaw my fish?

We highly recommend making a small slit in your vacuum sealed portion and thawing your frozen product in the refrigerator overnight. The product should be consumed within 72 hours of thawing.

Where do you ship to?

We can ship almost anywhere in North America. If FedEx is unable to ship priority overnight to your location, we work with you to arrange alternative methods of shipping.

How are your products packaged for shipping?

Our products are packed inside air-tight coolers, which are then boxed for shipping. The containers do not need ice and keep our products completely frozen for 48 hours.

Why do you use FedEx Priority Overnight?

To ensure that our seafood reaches you while it’s still frozen we chose a premium service that guarantees an incredible ocean to table experience.

Do you have a minimum order amount?

In order to keep shipping costs reasonable, we require minimum order of five pounds.
